Cornhusk dolls created this past May honoring our mothers.
I always celebrate our mama's and this year I made a limited collection of dolls to recognize and celebrate motherhood.
These dolls were created during the pandemic, wanting to acknowledge the struggles and hardships that families were enduring during this time. Mothers have to hold it all together. I used commercial dyes, mixing colors and creating vibrancy to bring the energy and strength that our mothers, ours parents have to maintain on a daily basis.
