I made this painting, to honor our lost sisters, this is a national plight affecting the female indigenous population. Statistics show the alarming number of cases affecting our population. This painting was done to support the movement, raise awareness and acknowledge those lost sisters and their families - Murdered, Missing, Indigenous Women, (MMIW)
